SAN JOSE, CALIF. -- April 26, 2012 -- Forte Design Systems™, a leading provider of
software products that enable design at a higher level of abstraction and improve design
results, today announced that it has joined the Cadence Design Systems Connections®
The Connections program fosters interoperability between Cadence® design flows
and Connection program partner toolsets. As a member of this program, Forte is enabled
to develop integration solutions for Cadence Incisive® Enterprise Simulator—used
to automate testbench creation and debug—and to ensure interoperability with its
Cynthesizer™ SystemC high-level synthesis (HLS).
"We are pleased to welcome Forte Design Systems to the Connections program," says Pat
Dutrow, senior marketing manager, Alliances, at Cadence. "We look forward to working
with the Forte team to enhance the interoperability of our products for the benefit
of our mutual customers."
"Tool interoperability is critical to allow design teams to build a flow customized
for their unique needs and challenges," remarks Brett Cline, Forte's vice president
of marketing and sales. "Through the program, we have linked Cynthesizer with the
Cadence Incisive Enterprise Simulator to meet these challenges."
