San Jose, Calif. - December 21, 2006 - Forte Design Systems today
announced it has named Sean Dart to serve as president and CEO. Forte
also announced that Brett Cline has been promoted to vice president of
sales and marketing.
Sean Dart previously served as Forte’s vice president of engineering,
where he drove the research and development of the industry leading
Cynthesizer behavioral synthesis product. Prior to joining Forte, Mr.
Dart was the CTO of Speed Electronics S.A., a company specializing in
front-end design tools for logic synthesis flows. Mr. Dart succeeds
David Sear who left to pursue other interests.
Brett Cline previously served as Forte’s vice president of marketing,
where he drove the product direction and customer introduction of
Forte’s Cynthesizer. Prior to Forte Mr. Cline held management and
technical positions at Summit Design, Simulation Technologies, and
Cadence Design Systems.
